We sing, we dance we speak of wonderful things of which we are un-versed! Our universe is rich and inviting, and we invite YOU, Gentle Listener to share it with US!
Doc and MadMan travel the globe weekly from our attic studio in beautiful Downtown Stigler in order to bring you the freshest, greatest, strongest and longest winded ideas and ideals on the PLANET ! And tonite, we did it all in just 49 minutes !
We visit about the need to extend a helping hand and a listening ear to our fellow man and woman, brother, sister, child and grandfolk – a recurring theme in today in our contemporary podcasts. Doc got the chance to chat with chart busting country funny man Rodney Carrington, and shares the fun with everyone about that. The DJAMM Bros put together a cover of Bob Wills’s “Stay All Night”, and blast it out for every future generation to enjoy.
So with that, G.R., we invite you’ uns all and once’t to join us in our global examinations, ruminations and general observations. WE BE DJAMMIN’ IT FA SHO!!

An orange cat with a Frisbee fixation. Pastries on Main. Concerts at the lake… does the fun never end in this town?? Doc and MadMan split the atom tonight and find the recipe for eternal life… wait…. that’s next week.
This week we spend some time at the re-vamped Roye Park where a new 9 hole disc golf course was recently installed. Fanciest think I’ve ever played upon, and I’ve been darn near to Enid ! We give the rundown before sundown on the sponsors for the Rock the Equinox concert on October 7 at our own under-sung swimming hole, Lake John Wells. Find a way to do those things before next week, or you’ll … be one who didn’t. lol
Dr. Jeffrey and the MadMan are DJAMMin !

Do you remember the first place you ever water skied? What about where you heard your first live music? Or participated in your first bona fide terrapin race? Well, for some of us, it all happened right here in this small town… perhaps on the one famed weekend every year ! Stigler’s Reunion Days doth approach As Shakespeare might have said, and Chamber of Commerce exec Jan Williams joins DJ and the MM tonight to catch us up on the wheres, whos, hows and whens of this year’s shindig. She also touches upon the upcoming infrastructure improvements such as the renovation of Stigler’s Main Street; the new Veteran’s Memorial Plaza on the Haskell County Courthouse lawn, and other important events in our area. Janice also takes a moment put to rest some persistent business rumors, as well as offering a great deal of hope and exciting news about what’s new and what’s next. Doc and MadMan also take a few minutes to talk about the D-Day invasion now more than seven decades past, the death of rock legend Gregg Allman and last week’s Memorial Day celebrations and all that they mean to the USA and our world. Join us for all of this, new talk of reviving Odie’s Ghostly Oldies and plenty of giggles, goofs and gargles that follow with the dynamic duo of dinking around. DJAMM IT TONITE !!!

If every day was like today… we JUST don’t know if we could stand it! It will sure be hard to follow this one, folks and fans. We had a great presentation and reception at Stigler-Haskell County Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon, where we talked about our upcoming Rock the Equinox concert at Lake John Wells. Yup, the MadMan and I talk about the excitement we felt from the group there, and the buzz around the music that’s just around the corner. We take a few minutes to thank our first wave of event sponsors, Stigler Chamber of Commerce, Aaron Bailey Shelter Insurance, First National Bank of Stigler, and Bill Cox Insurance and Real Estate. Our August 27 show ignited a passion in our hearts and in those around us… but one who MAY feel it more is tonight’s special guest, Hollywood rocker, Katya of KatyaMusic who spent a good chunk of time catching us up on her preparations for her fifth tour of Japan. She’s pumped to blast it all off right here in The Big Stig as our headliner, featuring Vague Vendetta, Reliance Code and Rocklahoma artists The Devil You Adore! We take a trip on memory “lake” as I recall the legends of kiddie trains, ice cream cones and the days of merry-go-rounds at Lake John Wells. Our area’s slice of Shangri-La is still beautiful, with its 220 acres of surface water, abundant camping spots and fishing opportunities galore. Step back and take a gander at this week’s Dr. Jeffrey and the MadMan Show. We’ll see you on the air ! – DJMM

“So, Doc, Madman; how did you guys spend your Saturday?” Well, let’s see, we went to the nicest city park in Eastern Oklahoma, listened to some great music, talked to some exciting and informative people about wonderful things happening for ALL of us, and had a great cheeseburger to boot !
That’s right. MadMan and Doc spent the day at Roye Park in Stigler where the organization Partnering for the Park hosted a fundraiser day with games, LIVE music from great bands and capped it off with a golfball drop where dozens of prizes were given away. Those things alone were just, well, pretty darn cool.
But that wasn’t all of it. We caught Stigler’s City Manager Bobby Mouser as he was buzzing from task to turn and quizzed him about the exciting developments taking place in the City of Stigler, not the least of which is the construction of a new hospital ! Yep, it’s in the works and word from Bob is that if the stars align, we hope to turn the first shovel full of dirt by this fall ! WOW !
Hang in there, it gets better.
As DJAMM was getting ready for the show, they looked up to see none other than the members of The Kingdom strolling by ! On a last minute booking, this dynamic and fresh faced group of uber-talented prodigies agreed to come to the Partnering for the Park event and play their own brand of Southern Spiritual Rock and Oklahoma Tusk for the good folks there! What a day ! They played after Bob Martin and the Day Job Quitters and right before the delightful Dante Miller, an amazing up and coming talent on the Oklahoma music scene; and Stress on the Rich, a staple in West Ark and Eastern Oklahoma, As if THAT much more wasn’t enough, they came by the podcast booth and shared their plans to hit the road with a Billboard charting band for almost two months this fall !
Now, gentle listeners, if this hasn’t pumped you up to come on board and give DJAMM a listen this week, then you’re coming up short. It’s rich with entertainment, this Dr. Jeffrey and The MadMan, Partnering for the Park Event Special ! – DJ&MM

Never let it be said that Dr. Jeffrey and the MadMan aren’t up for new experiences. That said, when’s the last time you heard someone call a 21 year old man, “old”? Well tune in tonight, and listen to a fresh new band from the Stigler area named The Destination, ages 13, 14, 14 and 21. That’s right ! This talented and energetic group of youngsters share with us not one but TWO original songs right in DJAMM Studios ! Members Williams, Prince, Crase and McCormick came to the studios this afternoon and hit us hard with their fresh brand of “OKIE TUSK” music. As a special bonus we also were proud to host Janice Williams, Executive Director of the Stigler – Haskell County Chamber of Commerce. Janice shares with us the exciting new developments happening as a result of the recently voter approved sales tax for economic development. She talks about the developments at Roye Park, new plans for walking trails, music opportunities and ways that virtually everyone can benefit from being a local Chamber of Commerce member. Tune in tonite for yet another fun, informative and entertaining segment from Doc and the MadMan… and never forget that you can listen to past shows just by clicking on the links on the website ! How cool are these guys anyway!? We love good folks ! – DJ MM
